- For the first half of 2008, standard automobile mileage rates for income tax deduction purposes are as follows:
- 50.5 cents per mile for business travel
- 14 cents per mile for charitable travel
- 19 cents per mile for medical travel
- 19 cents per mile for moving travel
- Effective for travel incurred on or after July 1, 2008 through the end of 2008, standard automobile mileage rates for income tax deduction proposes are as follows:
- 58.5 cents per mile for business
- 14 cents per mile for charitable travel
- 27 cents per mile for medical travel
- 27 cents per mile for moving travel
- 2007 rates are as follows:
- 48.5 cents per mile for business travel
- 14 cents per mile for charitable travel
- 20 cents per mile for medical travel
- 20 cents per mile for moving travel
